What Is GigPenguin?
Overview
GigPenguin handles the logistics for bandleaders who book the gig and hire the players: wedding and corporate bands, function bands, church music directors and theater contractors. Instead of texting six people to find out who can make the gig, you fill in one gig sheet with the date, venue, load-in, downbeat, dress code and pay, then send it. Each player gets their own text or email with a link and answers with one tap. Players don't need an app, an account or a password.

One gig sheet, one tap: every player answers from a personal link.
Delivery and read tracking: see whether the sheet arrived, when each player opened it, and whether they've seen the latest version, with their answer beside it.
Automatic reminders: anyone who hasn't answered gets a reminder each morning until they do. Pause reminders any time.
Change notices: when details change, every player gets a notice showing what changed, old to new, with your reason and a Got it button. You see who has acknowledged the change and who is still on the old plan.
Subs: if someone can't make it, the open seat shows on your home page and you can offer it to a sub the same way.
Rehearsal scheduling: offer a few times, players tick the ones they can make, and you lock one in.
